Meet Melanie
Melanie Kindrachuk, BA, MLIS
Melanie is a librarian and a lifetime reader and journaler. She knows first-hand the power that journaling and literature have in our lives. Realizing that our modern lifestyle often results in rushed and scattered minds, she felt the need to share the exciting potential for personal change inherent in writing, both in reading others’ work and in creating our own personal writing.
It was Rumer Godden who first inspired the idea of “Four Rooms”, another example of the serendipity of literature — by reading others we can see illuminated before us the ideas that are taking shape in our own lives. Melanie’s extensive knowledge of fiction and poetry, added to her years of practice and her studies in the field of journaling, make her an enthusiastic and involved facilitator. Her passion for the power of writing shines through in everything she does, and her committment to sharing this accessible and effective practice means that a wonderful learning experience is in store for you.
